A nutritious combination of highly digestible and low fat ingredients, make this an ideal food to aid poor digestion. It has been traditionally used for weaning young animals and for convalescents during the recovery period following illness. Soothing and mild it helps to slow the passage of food through the system which can help absorption of nutrients. It is of great benefit for acute intestinal absorptive disorder. Can be given during attacks of diarrhoea and colitis and continue into the recovery period. May be given as a short course of treatment or indefinitely for conditions such as exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. May be given in skimmed milk, live yoghurt, water or simply sprinkled on food.

Ingredients: Slippery Elm Bark 90%, White Poplar Bark 10%. Contains only plant material conforming to British Herbal Pharmacopoeial specifications.
